We've created our website and online shop Pikepoke based on experiences with our own children and their needs, and we aim to offer helpful content, a place for community and award-winning products that inspire us and make kids - and their parents - happy.
We are a wholesale and online retail company focused on inventive and imaginative products for babies and toddlers.
How it started
The beginnings of the Pikepoke story date back to 2012. Founders Aleš and Marko are lifelong friends that grew up together in the small, quiet town of Borovnica, who became parents at a similar time. As fathers they both started looking for a solution to make their daughters sleep better and easier. When they found Ewan the Dream Sheep, everything fell into place, and they started working with Sweet Dreamers, the originators of one of the best sleep soothers on the market. We are happy to say that the love for Ewan continues to grow even today.
Aleš and Marko then began to focus on expanding the range of inventive products for babies and toddlers based on the needs of their own families, and soon followed outstanding brands like Pearhead, Ubbi, Kokoso, Matchstick Monkey, Zazu, Cheeky Chompers, Rabbit&Friends, Bon Ton Toys, MOES and more. We have now been bringing unique brands to Slovenia and Croatia for a decade, expanding our company deliberately and sustainably. We are happy to say we still love our work just as much as we did when we started!
Our mission
We aim to offer advice to fellow parents and helpful quality products for the earliest and most delicate period of a child's life. We want to grow together with your family and make those difficult moments easier for modern parents, and to rejoice with you and remember those more frequent, wonderful and irreplaceable memories. The most beautiful are the products with which every moment in the company of your little one will be something special.
Magical products for kids
Our special focus are the ways in which we can help our babies sleep more soundly, and at the same time make life a little easier for fellow parents. Here you will find a wide and well-thought-out range of baby sleep soother toys with soft light and lullabies, the softest comforters and beautiful projectors.
Moms carefully choose accessories for baby care, so our sales program only consists of baby care products made of natural and child-friendly materials, natural cosmetics for babies and mothers, the safest teethers for babies and high-quality diaper pails.
What does ‘Pikepoke’ mean?
'Pika poka' is a term of endearment in our native Slovenian language. Sometimes it means dots, sometimes it means ladybug – it's up to interpretation, but it's always adorable!
